I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in critical care, triage, and psychiatry. While every part of my nursing career has been important, psychiatry is where I truly found my place.

I opened Park Haven Psychiatry to create the freedom to integrate a whole-person approach to mental health. Traditional models often leave little room for exploring the connection between mind and body—through lifestyle, nutrition, and integrative strategies—alongside evidence-based psychiatric care.

I also wanted to focus on a population I’m deeply passionate about: teens and young adults as they navigate important life transitions. Whether it’s moving into college, starting a career, or beginning a family, these are pivotal moments that shape lifelong well-being. My goal is to provide support, clarity, and tools during these transitions so my patients feel equipped to thrive.

My priority is to support you and work together as a team. I want to create a safe, welcoming place where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with two decades of experience, primarily focused on working with children and adolescents. In addition to this specialized background, I am also trained to provide care to young adults. My years of work in inpatient settings have given me valuable insight into the complex and evolving needs of young people and their families.

My approach to care is rooted in the belief that knowledge is empowering. I prioritize psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health and actively participate in their treatment decisions. I recognize that no two individuals are alike, which is why I customize each treatment plan to align with the unique needs and goals of the person I’m working with. I also strongly value collaboration and am happy to coordinate care with your therapist, primary care provider, or other specialists to support your overall well-being.

Mr. Kim, our Office Manager at Park Haven Psychiatry, keeps everything running smoothly every day. He handles scheduling, billing, and patient communication, making sure you get clear answers and timely support throughout your care.
