I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background in critical care, triage, and psychiatry. While each chapter of my nursing career has been meaningful, it was in psychiatry that I truly found my calling. Supporting adolescents and adults through their mental health journeys has become not just my profession, but my passion.
My approach to care is holistic—I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. The connection between mind and body is powerful, and I aim to foster balance and healing through an integrative model that includes medication management, psychotherapy, and lifestyle support. Whether it’s improving sleep, reducing anxiety, managing mood, or navigating life transitions, my goal is to help clients create lasting, positive change.
I believe that building a strong rapport is the foundation of meaningful and effective mental health care. My priority is to support and collaborate with my clients. I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals feel heard, empowered, and understood.
I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with two decades of experience, primarily focused on working with children and adolescents. In addition to this specialized background, I am also trained to provide care to young adults. My years of work in inpatient settings have given me valuable insight into the complex and evolving needs of young people and their families.
My approach to care is rooted in the belief that knowledge is empowering. I prioritize psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health and actively participate in their treatment decisions. I recognize that no two individuals are alike, which is why I customize each treatment plan to align with the unique needs and goals of the person I’m working with. I also strongly value collaboration and am happy to coordinate care with your therapist, primary care provider, or other specialists to support your overall well-being.
